Lecture and Debate on Nuclear Power and India


Group Discussion on the topic Nuclear power and India was held on the date 20th of  October in  many students put their thought regarding the use of Nuclear power in India.It was organized by the the CAET TGCC TEAM in which Mr. Mayank  Mishra, Mr.Ujjwal Tripathi, Mr. Monil Girdhar,Vikas Yadav were included.
The group discussion started by the lecture of Mr.Brijendra  Kumar who described an introduction of  nuclear power in his lecture.
After that Mr.Vikas Yadav delivered a lecture including the brief summary of development of nuclear power regarding the the brief history of it.the team members delivered their speeches in which they focused on some  points of Nuclear Power and India.They described about the significance of nuclear energy,need of nuclear power in India and it’s positive and negative aspects as the optional energy source.
Miss Nancy Sharma,Mr. Shashank Shekhar Singh and others put their thought on the topic.
In conclusion, lecture was delivered by Mr. Vikas Yadav who summarized the whole  data of Nuclear Power and India.
Lecure of Mr. Mayank Mishra was also significant.

Collaboration With SCoN N.G.O.


Green step Team has collaborated with an NGO named SCoN. SCoN stands for society for conservation of nature. The NGO works for the conservation of endangered species like Dolphins and tortules. Head of the NGO is Mr. Rajeev Chauhan. The team Green Step collaborated with the NGO watching the bad conditions of these species. The team visited with SCoN at many sites like river Yamuna bank,river Chambal and some villages also in the direction to save these species.
The visits of these sites were very positive in direction to save endangered species .The NGO SCoN has made believe the team Green Step to work together further in the direction to save these species and planned to visit some more sites together. The members of Green step who visited with the NGO were:

Ujjawal Tripathi(Public Relations Head)
and, Mr.Ujjawal Kumar Tripathi(Technical Head)
The team and the NGO has decided to work together further and to visit some new sites near the city.

                                                    Plantation In Our Campus        


“PLANT TREE, SAVE FUTURE, SAVE PLANET EARTH” 
Our “TGCC TEAM” of “CAET ETAWAH” organised the event of “PLANTATION”  on dated 25 october’12 in our campus  to  aware the  people about the greenery of our planet earth. Plants play an important role to give a green environment and helps to make our surrounding  green and clean. Since it is the main source of the life. So we the “GREENSTEP Team Member” move a further step towards the environmental safety by conducting the programme of “PLANTATION”.
    Our “GREEN STEP MOVEMENT” members comprises 50 student planted more than 100  trees in our campus and told the peoples about the environmental safety and about the benefit of planting trees.

The Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur is recognized today as the premier institution of agricultural research and education in India. It dates back to 1893 when a small school was started to impart training to revenue officers which rose step by step to full-fledged Government Agriculture College (1906), U.P. Institute of Agricultural Sciences (1969) and finally to C.S. Azad University of Agriculture & Technology in 1975.

About College:
Baba Sahab Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Etawah was established during the year 1994-95. This college is a faculty of Technology of Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur-UP The foundation stone of the College was laid down by Hon’ble Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji, the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on 8th October 1994. The main motto of the College is to make provision for education of rural people of Uttar Pradesh and provide good facilities for research and extension in the field of Agricultural Engineering and Technology. The B Tech degree programme in Agricultural Engineering was started in academic year 1994-95 with an annual intake of 60 students. So far thirteen batches have passed out and the fourteen batch is likely pass out in year August, 2011. B Tech degree programme in other disciplines viz Electronics & Communication Engg and Computer Science and Engg have been started from the academic session 2002-03 & Mechanical Engg has also been started from the academic session 2003-04 respectively having intake capacity of 40 students in each disciplines. The sixt batch of B.Tech. Electronics & Communication Engg and Computer Science and Engg is likely pass out in year August, 2011 and forth batch of B.Tech. Mechanical Engg is likely pass out in year August, 2011.

CAET, Etawah is spread over an area of about 95 acres. Beside this, there is a demonstration farm of 6 acres. The construction of Workshop, Academic Building, Library, Advance Research Centre, Medical Health Centre, Girls & Boys hostel and residential quarters for Dean, faculty members and other staff have been completed. The college from its very inception had adopted a very progressive policy and extended all possible facilities to the students. The construction works of College of Dairy Technology and Centre for Fisheries Science have been started w.e.f. 2006 -07 by UPRNN & C&DS Jal Nigam Respectively.
